Strawberry Salad


2 (3 oz) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 pt. frozen strawberries
3 bananas, sliced
1/2 c. Pecans, chpd.
1/2 pt. commercial sour cream

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add strawberries and stir until thawed.
Add sliced bananas and chopped pecans.
Pour half of mixture into 8x8x2" pan
and hold in refrigerator until firm.
Jell remaining half only to
thick-pouring consistency.
Spread sour cream on first mixture
and pour remaining half on top.
Refrigerate to jell.
