Susan's spaghetti sauce


1 lb. chop meat
1 large onion
3 large cloves garlic
2 large cans tomatoes, chopped, canned
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. Burgundy Wine
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. tarragon
1 tbs. brown sugar
1 whole bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste

Brown chop meat, garlic and onion in large pot
until meat is cooked and onion is soft. Drain fat.
Add canned tomatoes (use the kind in puree)
and add the whole can.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Lower heat to very low and simmer for 1-2 hours.
Freezes well.
