Sweet and Sour Mustard Sauce

2 tbs. salad oil 1 sm. onion, finely chopped 2 tbs. all-purpose
flour 1 c. chicken broth 3 tbs. Dijon mustard 1 tbs. sugar 1 tsp.
salt
In small saucepan over medium heat, in hot
salad oil, cook onion until tender, about 5 min.
Stir flour into onion mixture until blended.
Gradually stir in chicken broth, then
remaining ingredients; cook, stirring constantly,
until mixture is thickened.
Makes about 1 cup to serve over grilled steak
or beef patties, enough for four.
