Virginia Stewed Tomatoes


4 c. whole tomatoes, pereled
and quartered
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
6 baked biscuits

In saucepan, combine tomatoes,
sugar, butter and salt.
Crumble biscuits over mixture.
Cover and cook over a medium heat for 15 min.
Serves 6.
